Bug zappers and similar devices are useless against Biting Insects including Gnats, Midges, Horseflies, Sandflies and Mosquito's, because the pests are attracted to carbon dioxide in breath and not ultraviolet light. Retail products that use Propane and Octenol lures to get rid of Biting Insects are also not all they claim to be. Machines such as the Midge Magnet and Midge-eater eliminate some Biting Insects, but PHD Entomologists tests cannot prove that the machines reduce Biting Insects populations.

The MKS uses the natural hunting skills of Biting Insects like Mosquito's, Midges, Gnats, Sandflies and other Biting Flies. It is the only machine that has over 17 years of research, scientific study and space-age technology from NASA to calculate the exact amount of CO2 released and Infrared Heat need to attract Biting Insects, once the Biting Insect lands on the MKS the special coating designed to mimic skin acts as another attractant an internal fan draws the Biting Insects into the MKS where they pass through an electric grid then the carcasses are expelled through the bottom of the MKS back to nature. The unit goes through a wide range of heat and CO2 signatures including Horses, Livestock, Poultry, Domestic Pets and Humans. Unlike other machines the MKS uses No Dangerous Flammable Gases (Propane), Chemicals or Pesticides (Octenol, Lurex) just 99.5% pure CO2. The MKS turns itself on at Dusk and off at Dawn by a photocell and runs when the Biting Insects are doing the most damage. The MKS only attracts Female Biting Insects as these are the only ones that need to feed on Blood as the protein is required to produce eggs and for the eggs to mature. The CO2 bottles used by the MKS are the same as the ones used by the drinks industry.
